She is one of the greatest Saudi digital artist & she is one of a 3 talented sisters, this article should have been written months ago, but now it’s a great time to show you her last project that everybody has been talking about.

Amal Fahad from Saudi Arabia born in 1987, she is picturing her work by saying “drawing & writing is like making coffee when I have a headache”. she said once “Old Arabic books always inspired me”.

She picked “details” as a nick name of her own in Arabic “تفاصيل”, and believe me, by knowing her for years she really cares about every little detail that normal people won’t see!

When you see her artworks, specially those who lived in the middle east in 80′s, will realize that Amal try her best to make something makes you really wanna get back to this Arabian Media golden age, it’s an old fashion or “Vinatge” style like what others call it.

She use Arabic letters and textures with faded colors and of course her feelings in the top & the way she has been living her life.

Her last project called “365 artwork” which means in Arabic “٣٦٥ عمل ” she wanted to create an art pieces in 365 days, that means an artwork every day for one year!

She is not afraid of using any new way to design or draw she will make her own style “old fashion” even the scanner art!

I love his unique combination of prints, patterns and colors.  You can see his influence by pre-1900 Japanese Prints but what really stands out to me is how his art reflects his literary influences which include Ernest Hemingway and William Shakespeare.  More on the surface of things, these influences are shown by the direct quotes of writers that make up some of the titles of his paintings.  But what stands out to me is I can feel the literary influences – the melancholy of a strained relationship or the vast loneliness as felt in many of Hemingway’s works, the exploration of human emotion and the pitfalls, humor and triumphs that we’ve read in Shakespeare’s works.  Reaction to art is an individual emotion, and I find that in figure drawing it is difficult for an artist to capture human emotion and really make that feeling come alive to me as the viewer.  I believe this is where Corey crosses over to be an exceptional artist.
