I wanted to complete the child rights series, since I started the first one in October 2009 I thought breast feeding is so damn important to make an issue about it! and for somehow I really don’t understand why many new moms decide to bottle feed their child while breats feeding is a very heathy to the both of them mother & her child, plus it’s free & available !
I Hate to make a judgment by saying some moms are so selfish, but seriously what makes it so hard to do it? .. please light me!
أردت بشدة إكمال سلسلة حقوق الطفل وقد بدأت بأول واحدة مسبقاً
أنا من الأطفال الذين تم إرضاعهم طبيعياً، لا أعرف ماسبب إعراض الأمهات عن الرضاعة الطبيعية هذه الأيام، أذكر أننا قضينا ٤ سنوات دراسية نبحث وندرس حول أهمية الرضاعة الطبيعية فما المانع من تأدية وظيفة إنسانية لها دور كبير في تشكيل شخصية الفرد وتكوينه العاطفي لا أحب الحكم على الآخرين وتوجيه الإتهامات بالأنانية أو أو ..ولكن بالفعل لا يوجد سبب فعلي يمنع من القيام بتلك المهمة التي تخاذلت عنها كثير من الأمهات.
مدة العمل: نصف ساعة فرشة حرة ورسم حر والكثير من الضلال والكثير من الأخطاء والقليل من الوقت وهذا من ضمن أعمالي القليلة التي أعمل بها على القلم الضوئي فأنا لا أهوى الأقلام الضوئية بحجم محبتي لضربات الماوس، يبدو أن الأفكار تغمرني هذه الأيام لكن بالكاد أجد الطاقة لعمل شيء، هناك أمر يثير حيرتي هذه الأيام أنا مشتاقة لبعض الفضفضة هنا، ولأني عاهدت نفسي أن تكون المدونة تقنية فنية بحته خاليه من كينونتي حتى لا أعود مجدداً وأحذف وأغلق الموقع ثم أعود مجدداً لأن نفسي تعارض نفسي فهل أستأذنكم بهذا الأمر؟

I’ve once come over a debate with a girl from family, and she believes that not only the babies could be risen without their mom, but also, it is men’s duty to take the maternity leave to take care of the babies while the woman goes to work (a “why not!” mentalities).
yeah I heard something like that before, but I never believed it, what such a monster would do that?!
this beauty will not last forever anyway.

From the perspective of someone who struggled, and succeeded in breastfeeding my daughter for 18 months: I think most women want to breast feed, but it’s HARD. Nobody tells you how difficult it’s going to be, or how it takes a few weeks to get the hang of it, and how painful it is. Nobody tells you about the fun of mastitis, 104 degree fevers, and breasts so swollen and aching you need to swear loudly every time the baby latches on.
In Oman, we don’t have any lactation consultants, as far as I am aware, And if you want to be out in public, working and shopping, it’s really difficult to find somewhere clean and secluded to breast feed. Nobody wants to stand in a filthy restroom for half an hour trying to get a baby to concentrate on feeding over the noise of the toilets and hand dryers. I had to attend an out of town conference when the kid was five months old, and it was really difficult to do my job while nursing. We managed, but my role in the conference suffered for it.
Breast feeding should be encouraged, but at the end of the day, It’s really about feeding the baby. Just feed the baby, and do your best.

I agree some women are superhuman it’s not an easy job & I know that but some of them they just don’t want to even try their best! while even they are at homes ! ( personally I know girls do that )

i like the sketch but i think the lines are too many and have to be smudged in a way or another. Anyway, about the breast feeding, each mom loves her baby but some can’t simply do it because of health issues. A friend of mine who lives a very healthy life decided to stop breast feeding her new born baby because her baby rejects it.
